   In our Vijayawada, there are less girls colleges where the girls get free and better education. Girls colleges in inter education can be less than 10 in our Vijayawada, but in technical education like diploma with best college in Vijayawada is one and only KES polytechnic for women.

     In past, present and future this college is for technical girls and to achieve their goals at height.

OUR COLLEGE - HISTORY

 Krishna veni Exhibition Society’s polytechnic for women started functioning in 1981 under the guidance of founder Secretary late DR. Bhagavat Singh garu. It is under the management of “The Krishna Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition Society (Regd.), Vijayawada.

This is the first women polytechnic in costal Andhra & first Pharmacy Polytechnic in AP in the private sector.

The main aim of establishing this institution was to provide the technical educational facilities to poor and low income group girls in and around Vijayawada and Krishna district. The institution is run on “no-loss no- profit” basis. The polytechnic is a self-sustained institute run entirely with the tuition fees collected from the students.

During the period of 37 years the polytechnic has made tremendous progress. The Polytechnic has its own building. Hostel is attached to the polytechnic. Total number of our going students from 1981 to till now is 4621 Present strength of the Polytechnic is 593(in 2020).

The following Diploma courses approved by Govt. of A.P. and AICTE, New Delhi are conducted in this institution.

 The admission in to the Polytechnic are done by the Commissioner of technical Education, and S.B.TE.T

,A.P. on the basis of  performance of candidates in ”Polycet” Examination.

  The Institution is located in the heart of the Vijayawada city. The location is strategic and especially helpful to students and parents of surrounding villages and towns, because the city is well connected by road and rail.

1.     The Institution is recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.799, dt.05-10-1981.

2.    The institution is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, F.No. South-Central

Rules and Regular Schedule

The working hours of the college are:  Mon to Sat :9.30 Hrs. to 16-30 Hrs,  

                                                                  Second Saturday is a holiday.

Uniform: Punjabi Style: grey salwar, grey chunni, grey and white checks Kurtha, Friday Civil Dress.

Attendance: Every student is required to attend the class regular and punctually.

Every student should attend at least 75% of the Total no. of   working days in the academic year/semester. Students who failed to put in the prescribe attendance will not be permitted to appear for the annual examination, unless the strongest is condoned by the secretary, State Board of Technical Education and Training, Vijayawada. Such conditions will not be granted expect in exceptional circumstances and only up to 10%

Scholarship:  All eligible SC, ST, BC, EBC and minority candidate have fee exemption and scholarship they have to maintain 75% of attendance in each month to the scholarship amount

 D.E.C.E: Diploma in Electronics &Communication Engineering

 D.C.M.E:Diploma in Computer Engineering

 D.E.C.E: “Electronics and Communication “is one of the fastest growing field of engineering courses. It involves the transmission of information across the channel. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) compiles in Communication Engineering and core Electronics Engineering.

Present Principal of our college is Smt. K. Padmaja Vani garu. (MTech) She is our college principal and she was the Head of Department of D.E.C.E.

D.C.M.E: Diploma In  Computer Engineering is the fields of computer And providing knowledge of computing systems in both hardware and software design. That relates to computation, like analysis of algorithm, programming languages, pro5784356gram design, software and computer hardware

Present the Head of Department is Sri. M. Srinivas Rao garu (MTech)
